Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born on November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate and a television host at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they would leave the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experiences as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan as she was working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected people in that country and thereby gained an appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellow member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. In May of 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action committee working on behalf of Democratic causes.
