Psaki The oldest of three children, was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8] and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, an ex-real estate developer was the father of Eileen who emigrated from Greece back in 1904. His mother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, Psaki graduated from College of William & Mary. She received an education in English and sociology. She is an active part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki, a William & Mary backstroke swimmer was on the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki started her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then named as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. MSNBC announced that Psaki will serve as a political analyst during the 2022 United States Presidential Elections. In 2023, she will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform. [35] Psaki's first TV appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 30, where she talked about the shooting at Robb Elementary School shooting.
